seph, these quests require dominant color genes to be researched. Color quests are actually normal genetic-related quests and do not differ in their requirements from the non-color ones.

today there is a quest asking for a black unicorn. I have one and the colors have been researched so why can't I do it?
I collect wild and first generation (has parents with wild parents) unicorns. Take a look in my first generation tab to see what I mean. I'm aiming to collect one of each color available with decent stats.
