How do you breed with someone else's pet? & how do you "turn on" their breeding offer?

There is a 'Breeding Offer' button on every female (that doesn't belong to you)'s profile. :) However, if the pet you wish to breed with is male, you must ask its owner to send the offer to you.

Yes, I see that. However, the "breeding offer" button isn't lit up on every pets page. For instance, if I go to this pet of yours (http://beastkeeper.com/pet/17798) it doesn't give me the option to make a breeding offer.

Huh, scratch what I said earlier, it appears I was wrong--I can now see the button on males' pages also?
In this case I have no idea; I'd actually like to find out myself. o_o
@edit: Figured it out! The button will only appear if you have a pet of the same species set as active pet. @_@ -facedesk- Seems blatantly obvious, I should've thought of this earlier. ;;

Not to hijack someone else's thread, but I had this happen to me. I was not able to breed to this pet, even though I had an elligible female cocatrice as my active pet. http://beastkeeper.com/pet/9090
I eventually had to go the the breeding search page and had to find him there, then breed them from his link in the search results.

If he is up for breeding offers anyway you can't send a private offer to his page. The button will light up only on pets who are not busy.

i have to click the breeding button.. witch one is that!? i tryed - breeding offer - and -pedigree- but not one of them works. ... now i cant do anything... only stay on the page of mij female unicorn...

kip, there was an error in tutorial, several users that registered yesterday have suffered from it. The new users won't face this problem. We're working on restoring the normal tutorial mechanism for the users who have stucked. You will receive a notification on your email when it will be possible to start the tutorial over. We're extremely sorry for this failure.
