My pet doesn't have enough energy to enter the portal, will it eventually be able to?

You gain 1 energy every hour. It takes 5 energy to enter the portal. If your pet has 0 energy now, it will be able to enter the portal in 5 hours. You can see when your pet will gain its next energy from its profile page. There is a timer on the energy bar that says when the next energy will be gained.

There are also certain items that will restore their energy, like the energy drink. Fountains also restore energy :) But generally energy drinks can be rare or expensive.

You can also save up to make a sactuary, which lets you refill one pets energy once each day.
