University is looking for a Piebald Cockatrice to demonstrate on the genetics lecture Reward: 3000
You don't have a pet which meets quest criteria!
But I do have a piebald Cockatrice...lent to me to do the quest:

You didn't link to the pet.
But, the problem is probably the most obvious one: You need to have the pet's piebald gene researched before it will count as a possible match for the quest.

As the beastie is not my own it did not occur to me that it did not have the genes researched, and as it does say that it is a piebald it woulld not have entered my head that it would require them to be researched...I suppose I should have known XD
I researched the genetics, and of course you were right...it worked:)
