University is looking for a Piebald Cockatrice to demonstrate on the genetics lecture
I can only find it in a Gyrfalcon

CosmicStar, can you please clear a bit where the bug exactly is?
If you mean that you can't send your piebald blue cockatrice to this quest, then everything is working correct. The required color gene should be researched to send a pet to this quest. Color related quests do not differ from normal quests requiring other genes.
Concerning White Gyrfalcon quest, I don't see any White Gyrfalcon Rocs among your pets.

the Piebald dose not show as a color for Cockatrice in search so I didn't in the was it was in the cockarices colors and I don't see Gyrfalcon for the rocs as the colors if I'm getting what ther asking right I maybe confuesed
