Hello there! How are you doing today?

Thank you very much for checking out my skins! Your time spent veiwing them is very much appreciated. I've always wanted to do something like this, and this is the first time I've done it. I'm working quite hard on my skins, but I'll be honest... I'm not much of an artist at all.

Since your here... Would be so kind as to leave me some of your opinions on my skins? If you'd be willing, I would deem you a truly wonderful person. Even if you are not a perfessional dermatoligest. ; )

This is my Current Mian Project: My "Pet Roc" Lineart! Any tips would be awesome! I HATE wings by the way... One turn out fine, the other is all wonky... Tails are even worst, though! You can tell where I got mad at it and just started eraseing indesciminantly. Also, do you think that the head to small? T.T

If you wish to contact me, it's best to do do so through PM. I am extremely forgetful.

Current Side Project: Eastern Bluebird Skins

I think I just have to make these guys less pixel-y and I'll be good. I want to leave them up for a couple days first, though, just to see what the rest of you think.

I personally despise feathers for drawing. Love feathered things, though.. >.>

Anyway, as far as your Roc drawing is concerned, his head is a tad small, but only in porportion to how.. er, boofy the rest of him seems. If that is the position you're going with, the rest of his body needs to turn just a tad with his wings. The head would stay looking the way it's facing.

Maybe? Iunno, I'd try that. ^.^;

I was worried about head size... I should probably slim down the body a bit, as well. What do you mean by turning the body? As in rotation or as in rolling?

Thank you very much for the imput, Jarick! : )

Yes, rotate him. If you like that layout for the wings his body needs to turn with them. Show his underbelly more, spread his feet and legs. The position is akin to banking.. Keep his head the way it's currently facing. Birds heads are able to be stable while their bodies move.

Okay, I made a few changes, but I think it's still a bit off. I think I need to rotate it even more. It still looks quite a bit better thanks to some leg and head modifacations I made...

He does look a bit better. Here, take a look at these. They might help to explain what I'm trying to a little better than I can put into words. Also.. Totally had a bird drawn up.. only to find that my scanner is borked this morning... T-T

Okay, I get what you're saying now! Thank you very much! I'm a little worried if I'll be able to do it right though... Probably have to get rid of most of the back half. Either that, or I could re-draw the wing to that it fit the body...

Either way, that's a lot of work! XD

Those are fantastic sites by the way! Thank you very, very much. I'm sorry to hear about your scanner. : (
