A few bits of silver is nothing in real life...but it can be the difference between a stable expansion and limiting your breeding goals.

Congratulations!

It took me over 20 attempts to get my fire breather, I hope you had better luck because it was super frustrating for me. XD

Well, it took a couple generations to get it right, then I outcrossed to back up the Spitting Muscle...I thought it would take longer than it did. I was actually getting ready to ask you about a cross when I got her ^.^;

Congrats NiteThorn (and Ankokou)! I've a ways to go working towards mine still.

Aaagh! I am so close for my own fire breathers, the very thought and example excites me! Congratulations! It takes a lot of effort and planning.

Hijacked thread! I finally got my firebreather, as well, though I was getting tempted to breed Nicol with your beauty.

Little updates...

Ivy
Ivy
, has doubled Fire Gland genes.

Saxon
As does Saxon, her son. (He also picked up doubled Beserker genes).

Phillip
I have recently aquired this male, Phillip, who has doubled Spitting Muscle genes (:

So things are looking up.

Several other dragons in my ranch have combinations of Fire Gland, Napalm Gland, and/or Spitting Muscle genes, but are all recessive...(and a few have all three! Ah the agony!)

EDIT: Mary-mountains! HTML mess up...Sorry about that!

---

Latest hatclings/newly growns. I was somewhat shocked on the doubled-napalm, as I wasn't keeping an eye on it. Going to have to be careful about inbreeding, now, also...Getting a little tricky. Bunch of Napalm+Spitting+Fire Gland recessives in other group-tabs, but I wish to focus on doubled genes, so here you go. PhillipILoveYou.

Opal
Opal

Double incisors (recessive Fire Gland)
Doubled poor hearing (partial immunity to shriek/roar FTW!)
Recessive Beserker
Agile Paws
Recessive Spitting Muscle
Doubled Napalm Gland
Recessive Elemental Resistance

Doubled Fire Gland
Poor Hearing
Recessive Beserker
Agile Paws (Sharp Claws recessive)
Steel Muscles recessive
Boiling Blood recessive
Black
Piebald (Dilute recessive)

Ruby

Recessive Beserker
Agile Paws
Doubled Spitting Muscle
Doubled Black
Recessive Dilute

Bunch of doubled-dilute's also hanging out in another group-tab, going along nicely. I was uncertain that any of my breedings would have positive results until just recently...Persistence pays? q:

EDIT 2: And just realised I've sort of hijacked this thread...is that okay? Not fire breathing yet, but well on the way, group project of a sort.
