My sister has an account, she sometimes uses my laptop, though usually she uses one of my brother's comp or her iPod thingie.
Is there someone I have to tell about this, and are ip addresses computer based? Or location based?

Your IP address depends on your internet provider. If you're using the same internet connection for all of your devices (for example, you have a connection on your PC which you share with other devices through LAN and Wi-Fi), the IP will be the same for all of them.
