So I'm new and haven't quite gotten the hang of everything, but I've been wondering something. Kay, so I get that to have a building it has to be made, but I haven't seen any blueprints at the store for some of them, is it just not stocked or are there certain items that you can only get from item trades, etc?

You can get blueprints from quests or (rarely) exploring, but the best way to find blueprints at a much cheaper price than you would in the shops is in item trades under the trading tab. :)
