Just had a thought when I put an item up for auction, then found out I do need it.  (expanded a building with gold I had then found out it wasnt up to the next level of building so I still needed the blueprints  lol)

Could it be possible to have a way to cancel an auction with no bids?

(both pet & item auctions)

That way, in case of a mistake like I made, its easy to correct right away. too  :)

The only current way of canceling an auction is paying the buyout cost.

If you didn't put a buyout price on the auction then you just have to wait until the auction ends. You can bid on your own auction so you win it however but you still have to wait for it to end.

We have the ability to cancel an auction with no bids planned, it will be added eventually.
