Sometime in the last few days (or day? sorry not sure when it started) the searches seemed to have stopped working as they were.

For instance I can now choose a gene THEN then species and it does NOT reset as it did before. I believe it was set this way originally to prevent people from inputting combos that don't exist (read Angel's answer on another thread about a different search item).

Also, when you do select a particular species first it no longer filters the genese available to that species... for instance a cockatrice has the choice of Acid Gland and Magic Horn. (and all the other species specialty genes just used those two as an example)

You're right. This is not a bug. This was done intentionally because of that other bug post that also wasn't a bug that was made because someone bought a pet they thought had a gene they wanted but didn't.

You can't have it both ways!

As for how it currently is, it is fine, you'll just never get a result for a cockatrice with magic horn because it doesn't exist.
