How are dominant genes selected? Are they dominant randomly or the one that has higher gene power is always dominant?

About custom coats...are they going to be open to submit forever? 

Right now I'm on the weekly chart of battles, I was wondering when I'm going to recieve the golds

and the last one (for now) What happens when you defeat a 'special pet' (The ones you find when you came across their statue) while exploring?

I only know the answer to the first and last questions.

Yes, the gene with the higher Gene Power will always be dominant. So if you wanted a trait that has a Gene Power of 30 both slots of that type would have to be that trait.

When you defeat one of the pets that come from the statue you get a bundle of premium items (3 I think?) and some silver I believe.

The weekly chart is rewarded at the end of the week, so if you are still on it on Sunday night then you will get your gold.

you are supposed to  be at the top 10 of the weekly chart to receive gold though

It will be possible to submit the custom skins at any time. Although please keep an eye on the skin submission rules, they're updated from time to time.

The skin can be fully custom. Official bases are only an addition for those who can't or don't want to draw a pet from scratch.
