Is it just me or had there been a marked reduction in the frequeny that we run into all types of building while exploring? (including bosses)
I've not seen anything in the news (that I remember :p). Am I going mad? or just plain unlucky?

I think you're just unlucky, I haven't noticed a difference.

1. The chance of a building blocking the island generation is significantly decreased.
2. The chance of building generation on the island is decreased. The probability of Beast Temple and Market generation is increased. The probability of Magic Shop and Scriptorium generation is decreased.
