My observers/capturers haven't encountered any gryphons or rocs since I joined. No unicorns either I think.
Seeing a ton of dragons and cockatrices, and a couple pumas.
Am I just unlucky, or species really do have variable encounter rates?

All species have the same rate. New pets won't come to your lands until there will be free dens, so first you need to catch the pets who live in your lands at this moment.
