I'm asking mainly because I have a full inventory and no idea how to empty it. I would just destroy stuff but I am a resource hoarder of note and would like to get some currency back for them if I can.

I put auctions in the title, since that seems to be the most straightforward way of selling items, but the question extends just as much to trades.

Auctions for pets might be a bit slow, unless your pet really has something unique, like perfect genes or a gp3 deviant for a good price.

Auctions for items are pretty fast if you can match or beat the current lowest prices, and if you're selling materials such as wood, hops, verm, soapshroom, etc. Some prices are pretty low, but if you can sell large stacks  of materials, its fine if the prices are a bit higher.

I wouldn't expect to get anything from item exchanges.

Thank you so much! I'll keep that in mind.

It's especially great to hear cause I have a decent amount of building materials, but no great pet crafters and not many blueprints lol

You can also "store" materials by putting them up for auction and setting the price at a number with more than ten digits. When you post it, the number defaults to the highest amount somebody might be able to pay (or, I think that's how the number get's decided. Regardless, it works). As it's not realistic someone is willing to pay such an amount for the material, your stuff is safe for the next 30 days (then you have to put up the auction anew, that part may be frustrating) and won't take up space in your warehouse.

Or just put it in item exchange, u can store it there forever.

Just set the exchange to 100 premium scrolls or something

Ohhhh, that makes a lot of things make more sense. I kept seeing a bunch of those ridiculously priced ones and kept thinking "surely this doesn't sell??"

Clever! I'll try it out
