These are the buildings I would urge new (And veteran) players to focus on as soon as possible to enhance and assist your gameplay. In order of importance to me.
It goes without saying the Warehouse and Stable upgrades are a must.
Astroligist Level 3 : The astrologist makes your explorations so much more productive. Placing your desired resource (Do you need wood?, or Quartz, Or Vermillion?).Placing this resource in the input box greatly increases the number of these resources you find Per Explore.
State Portal Service Branch : Speaking of Explores, having this building allows you to send unwanted or bad genetic pets to the state portal, removing them from the game, and in exchange, receiving Energy Flow Cards which are used after you have used up your daily explores. Comes in very handy to have a stack of these on those days when you have time for a lot of exploring. You can also assit in cleaning up the pound by adopting and portaling low quality pets from the pound.
Embassy : Very important for your finances as it increaes your quests from 5 to 7 so you can make more money.
BARN : Very helpful in allowing more space in your already quickly filled warehouse by nullifing the effects of certain resources that count against your warehouse allowance.
Riding Hall Lvl 5 : Very helpful, especially when used in conjunction with certain travelers at your INN to train your pets outside of fighting on the arena.
INN : Although many if not most of the invites you recive while exploring are only useful in wild animal expiditions. There are some great visitors to your inn that you can invite if you are lucky enough to find the invites. Especially the Trainer, likewise The Strategist, The Geneticist, The Tactician and even the Traveling Merchant are all very helpful during their stay, especially if used strategically when you can take advantage of their boosts.
Sanctuary : Did you want to use explore more with that certain pet today? Well the Sanctuary will allow you to energize one pet per day back to full enegry free of charge and without an energy drink. Which can come in handy.
Reserve : And finally The Reserve, which will allow you to free your pet to the open range while NOT removing it from the game so as to keep your genetic lines and pedigree visible, and you can visit them to remind them of their genetics and when viewing or researching a specific pet's lineage.
GOLEMS : Though not buidlings really, yet they are kinda sorta, it is essential and VERY VERY helpful and important that you build your resource Golems every 10 days.Just check your Inventory > Golems every few days and stay aware for when you need to rebuild them, they can help build up your resources way more than you realize.
Non-Priority
Military Academy : This is of course only relevant if one cares about the Battlefield part of the game as it allows you to create sqauds. This is not a priority building for most, nor for those who prioritize the regular parts of the game, which is usually the majority of players.
So aside from the Military Academy, the above buldings are the ones I've found most valuable to get built as soon as possible, and in he order of value I have found them in my game play. Their usefullness can sometimes go uinnoticed by the playerbase, hopefully this will alert you to their value and how important they can be in improving your account and gamepley here.
