Hello!
I recently got a hold of a cartographer's guild and I was just going to look at the map to place some catchers...but there were no pets there? I'm not sure if it's a product of the programming or to do with me having a cartographer's guild, but I figured I should say something.

It's completely normal as the dens need a while to respawn new pets after we catched them all.
I get empty maps every 2 days. ^^' *overhunting*
