I'm not sure if I'm just being really dumb but I cannot find for the life of me a place where I can view a list of items/beasts that I have current winning bid on? 

I know I can get mail when I'm outbid but I cannot remember what stuff I've got bids on (over the last few days)

I don't believe there is a system to view your current bids at the moment. I just keep track by using the mail feature. It takes your money when you bid anyways, so you can sort of track your spending there. Otherwise you can make a suggestion and hope it gets implemented at some point :)
