I'm planning to use 2 50% DCA to breed a deviant. I'm not sure if I'm right, but could 4 of them be used to create a double deviant? If not, is there a way to attain one with DCAs?

I don't know! I was plannig to do the exact same thing! But with pink fish eggs too. So 2 pink fish eggs and 2 50% DCA.

I don't think DCA are stackable.

Oh. And does it increase the chance of only having deviant colour or both? It says that it would increase the chance of the next baby being a colour deviant or something. I got four 50% DCA now!

Normal chance of getting a deviant is 1 in 10. 

With a 50% dca your chance is 5 in 10. So it increases your chance.

However you aren't guaranteed a deviant every second try, so bear that in mind. 

So I just bred a puma, gave her two 50% DCA before breeding. Once cooldown was over, the baby wasn't deviant. Wouldn't two 50% DCA have guarranteed the deviance?

No, they aren't stackable so you only have 5/10 chance (or 1/2) of getting a dev.

A 1/1 (100 DCA) would guarantee you a deviant.

So even if you use two it won't give you a dev? I got Ruby pregnant, but I just realised that you were meant to give the female it before the pregnancy, not after. * Me slapping my face and screaming in fustration* ( JK.)

You should only be able to apply one DCA of any type to a pet before pregnancy. There is a 100% DCA item in the game, but obtaining it isn't common. The most you can do most of the time is 50%- and it isn't a gaurentee. I'm not completely sure if the effect applies toward twins when using fish eggs or not, or only one of the twins- but I like to try to stack DCA with fish eggs! :)

One strategy to speed up getting deviants is if you did not purchase the female (you bred her yourself) try breeding the female's parents again to get extra females to breed to the deviant making male you're trying with, so it's more exciting. In 12 (no DCA) babies, I usually get 1 deviant per 12 attempts. Sometimes I don't, sometimes I get 2! It works, patience is just required.

There are quite a few pumas named acute saber with a suffix. The one named Acite Saber is yellow yellow, striped striped. Ruby carries one copy of striped, so you could get a pattern deviant. (That carries yellow/red.)
