My problem is with my unicorn Arya here:

She has both agile paws and quickmind as dominant genes, yet she does not have counterstrike listed as a gene combo ability. I believe this is a bug?

Thanks for reporting!
There was a problem with displaying gene combo abilities in the pet profile but they worked as they should in battle.You may have noticed this by getting the battle logs like this (it's from a test battle with Arya):
Turn №1
You dodged the attack and counterattacked!
You dealt 13 damage!
You dodged the attack.
You use Bite
Your opponent uses countermove!
Turn №2
You dodged the attack and counterattacked!
You dealt 19 damage!
You dodged the attack.
You use Bite
Critical hit! You dealt 60 damage!
Now gene combo abilities are displayed in the profile correctly.
