Adopt pets from the pound to do quests, and later on buy better pets to do better quests.

Try to find a unicorn with determined, and a symurgh with determined (must be dominant gened)

At least one pet with deaf. One roc with weak beak. One lightning roc.

Tan forest throdama, fiery red thodama. Fiery red symurgh.

Dragon with artisan, dragon with fearsome look, cockatrice with acid spit.

A lot of these you can breed as well.

Money from quests adds up really, really fast.
