So I've been off and on working on breeding a nicely gened montagu's harrier (normal color, deviant pattern) morph of Roc. But I've entirely lost track of how I was doing it, and am not sure anymore the best way to go about it.

So now I'm up to my eyeballs in birds and not sure where to restart.

I plan to pick up premium to untangle my bloodlines, but I would love some advice on where to go from there. Is it better to work out genes and then GP, or is it better to level everything halfway decent and discard birds as I go? I feel like I'm missing something really obvious here.

Premium is great for tracing pedigrees.

It may be best to use pet search to find good males owned by active players and negotiatte breeding offers.

Levelling up really takes ages, but it does help if you want to get good new blood.

Genes, I would think, are the most important.

Thank you so much!

I honestly hadn't considered negotiating breedings with other players. Whoops.

I looked but I have only one female roc that's the right colour and genes...
