I'm trying to explore with my pet. I was wondering what it means when "There's no located islands in the memory of your Portal." Does this mean that I have to wait for the portal to recharge before I can explore? How long do I have to wait?

You start with 20 explores - once you've used them, they recharge at the rate of one per hour.

To get energy flow cards, which allow for more exploring, you have to send pets to the State Portal Service Branch, which you must build.
