So while exploring I found a guardian hydra, engaged it, and then noticed that its health was clearly going back up between hits. Has anyone else encountered this, and does someone know if it’s a glitch or just a rare ability?

Sometimes enemies on explore have the same genes as pets do. This one must've had the Regeneration gene.
Wait till you encounter wild etelia with magic mirror. Those are FUN. XD
