my pet, named azure, is mysteriously blue. I think he was born that way, but I'm not sure how. Any help? Also, here's the link if you want to check him out.

He's a deviant!
When both parents have the same matching color or pattern gene (in his case, it looks like the parents had two copies each of the Gray gene), the baby has a small chance of being born with a deviant color. They're like normal pets in all other ways, but they look cooler!
Deviants are pretty rare, and some players spend a lot of time and effort in breeding them. Getting one by accident is pretty lucky.
