Look on the bottom left of your pregnant throdama's page - you choose there whether you want it to be a warrior, defender, harvester or scout.

Then you assign brood carers with the correct pheromones to your female from drop down boxes.

You have to have throdamas with the correct pheromones in your stable.

In order for pheromones to be available you have to have throdama that have met the requirements.  For warrior this is winning arena battles, for scout exploring islands, for havester collecting goods from islands.

On the page of the throdama there is a box with symbols like a shied that will say a number 0/25, etc.  This shows how close you are to activating the pheromone of the related type on that throdama.

You can activate all the pheromones on every throdama but they can only be used once per throdama.  So, when you have a female you want to breed OTHER throdama than that one have to have the pheromone available.  When you breed there will be an option on the throdama to select a pheromone if and ony if you have throdama with those pheromones available.  You select the pheromone there and then it will allow you to choose which throdama who have it available you will be using.

So you need between one and three OTHER throdama.

If you need a scout, then these throdama have to each have visited 20 islands on Explore.

If you need a harvester, these throdama need to have each collected 1000 resources.

Defender: have lost 50 battles on arena.

Warrior: have won 50 battlles on arena.
