In english, we have to do a persuasive speech to convice the audience to give someone a Nobel Prize- would this convince you? (The person I have chosen is Professor Peter Singer- Animal Protectionist)

When asked ‘Do you really believe that a human being is no more valuable than an animal?’ Professor Singer replied; “Humans and animals are equal in the sense that a being is human does not mean that we should give the interests of that being preference over the similar interests of other beings.”

Meaning, we’re all living creatures, just because animals think differently, act differently and feel differently, why should we get privileges? Why should we treat animals like trash, and other humans like gold?

Professor Peter Singer is the owner and founder of Animals Australia, an organisation that helps protect animals from abuse. You’d think that by now, Australia would not have major abusive systems happening, when in fact, we have terrible systems.

Our dairy industry is breeding cows, then, when the infants are less than a week old, they’re taken away and killed cruelly. They’re burned, electrocuted and have had knives to the throat while still conscious.

Animals Australia is against this, and trying to spread the news and stop it. Don’t you think that someone trying to stop that and more, deserves an award?

'Such is human memory... you forget the truth and believe what makes you feel better. '
