I am new and am confused. While exploring it will say I've picked up certain items but when I go to look in my inventory they aren't listed. Are there items that you pick up that wouldn't be shown in any of the iventory tabs?

Is it food items? Like berries, spotted tapir, sea lettuce, reptile eggs, etc?

These items are just grouped up as foods, under categories (animal fats, plant proteins, animal carbohydrates, etc.). They'll be fed to your pets automatically daily.
