I know that females have less breedings available to them than males.

SO if I was to change this pet http://beastkeeper.com/pet/9686 into a female, would she still have 2 breeding slots taken away or would it be less?

I was wondering if it changes proportionally or simply takes the actual number from previous sex.

If it takes the number, would that mean that potentially after maxing out the female's breeding, I could change her into a male and have more breedings from that pet this way?

I don't think you can change a pet's gender if it has already been bred.
