We offer players to write their own quest events like the two past events that described the competition between two guilds for the Selenium deposit (First Event and Second Event). To take part in this contest, you need to write your own event and submit it to this thread. Your entry must contain the following parts:

1. Two species that participate in challenge
2. Who are the competitors (factions, guilds, beastlords...) and why do they compete
3. Requirements for the participating pets
4. Bonus for the winning species
5. Description of the event

All these points are mandatory for the entry.

Angel could we perhaps have a list of the guilds? Or does it have to be the Miners and Magician's guilds? Or can we create them?
Does Faction mean a group of species?
Are player's beastlords?

Nightingale, you can use any of the existing factions or create your own. And they don't have to be only guilds, you can add any characters or factions. The only requirement is that they should blend with BK world concept (actually this mean that they can be almost anything medieval, fantasy or sci-fi / fantasy).

Factions are NPC structures like Druids Circle, Council of Mages, Conclave of Warlocks or Order of Knights. 

Yes, players are beastlords. Though for the contest I mean NPC beastlords.

    Why do they compete: They both compete for control over the Heart of the    Forest. The Druids believe in a pristine environment and the Geological Exploration Service sees only the profit of the rare minerals in the forest.
3. Requirements: Courage for Unicorn, and Strength for Dragons.
4. Bonus: If Dragons Win: Decreased island enter energy cost 25%, If Unicorns Wing: Increased energy cap- 25%
5. Description

The Heart of the Forest is the most prosperous area on the island. The Druids have long inhabited the area and use it as training grounds for members of their faction. They believe that a close connection with the land enhances their magic. The forest is rich in medicinal plants and the pools have a deep magic about them. Recently the Geological Exploration Service, desiring to seek out rare and valuable minerals, are making their way into the forest. They are leaving a wake of destruction behind them. The Unicorns have always been defenders of the forest, but only the most courages of them can withstand the strong dragons that the Geological Exploration Service uses to clear land and extract resources.

Who are you going to help? There are 7 days for the competitors to hire enough participant pets. If you would like to participate in this event, go to Quests tab: Druids are looking for the courageous unicorns while the Geological Services need strong dragons.

Species: Unicorns And Gryphons

Competitors: Competing Feastival Venders, the Cloud shop and the Precious gem vendors

Requirements: Strength for Unicorns And Agility for Gryphons

Bonus: Increased energy cap 25%

Why they are competing: They are competing because the venders have a competition of who can sell the most items and make the most profit are labeled  vender of the year and get a trophy that everyone wants and the two most competitive venders , the Cloud shop and the precious gem shop are looking to hire so they could be vender of the year

Species: Dragons and Gryphons

Competitors: The Cartographer's Guild and the Explorer's Guild, who each wish for the exclusive rights to explore a newly discovered continent.

Requirements: Agility/Constitution for Dragons, and Intelligence/Intuition for Gryphons.

Bonus: Decreased island enter energy cost.

Description:

Due to some unclaimed wizardy error, a terrible series of massive storms has swept across the oceans and floodlands, changing the landscape entirely in under a month. The Cartographers Guild is in an uproar, trying to remap all the known regions in the wake of the disaster. The highest officials have begrudgingly allowed the Explorer's Guild to help get the task done, despite its members' tendancy to forsake accuracy for expediency.

There is good news, however. With the waters so displaced, a new continent has emerged from beneath the surface, bringing with it the budding excitement of new landmarks and adventures. Astrologers think that the continent may become covered again in less than a year's time, and both of the guilds wish to see what it holds before it disappears again, perhaps for another century. Neither guild wants members of the other to get in their way, so they've agreed to a light-hearted competition to see which guild can have exclusive rights to the new lands. Whoever can compile the most complete map collection of the familiar floodlands within a week will get nine months to survey the continent without the other guild's interference. If the continent has not been buried beneath the ocean again by that time, the losing guild will then get its chance to do what it can before the floodwaters erase it from the face of the world once more.

The explorer's guild prefers the use of Dragons, whose speed and endurance can allow them to survey larger spanses of land in shorter periods of time, while the cartogropher's guild prefers the keen eye and sensibilities of Gryphons, who can catch even the most minute details in the landscape beneath them.

Each guild is sending out a call for help in this competition. For the next 7 days, Dragons and Gryphons may go accept the Quests to aid in the contest. Members of the winning species will be granted with greater exploration opportunities by the winning guild as thanks for their help.

How do we do this?

The Order of the Knights and Conclave of Warlocks are competing for sole rights to protect the new Selenium mines.

3. Requirements for the participating pets

Strength/Gladiator/Massive beak for Gryphons and Fragrance/Regen/Magic Horn for Unicorns (So battle positive things for Gryphons and more magical battle positives for the Unis)

4. Bonus for the winning species:

Increased energy Regeneration speed to 2 points an hour.

5. Description of the event

The Order of the Knight's and the Conclave of Warlocks are both fighting for the chance to get a lucrative contract guarding the newly deepended Selenium mines. The Knights say that the Gryphons, who can patrol from air and ground will do the job better with their fighting skills and will protect the mine more adeptly then the Warlock's unicorns.

But the Warlocks argue that the magic of the unicorns will prove better in the end due to the added bonuses caused by them. So they have both decided to have decided to see who they could get more of to fight against the monsters in the woods, and who can clear a larger area.

Who will win the battle of the beasts? The Knights or the Warlocks?

Two participating species: Dragons and Pumas

Interested parties: Council of Mages (in association with Dragons) and The Selection Academy (on behalf of Pumas)

Both species compete in order to be the first one granted the right to mine the newly discovered selenium deposits.

Requirements:

Intelligence and Intuition for Dragons

Courage and Intuition for Pumas

Bonus (if the mission is successful):

Energy regeneration rate being increased by 35% (if Dragons succeed) or

Genetic research being 44% cheaper (if Pumas are successful)

Description:

The Dragons, being known as highly intelligent beings, are looking for intuitive and intelligent members of their species to join them, in order to secure themselves the position of having access to the deposited selenium. If such effort will prove to be successful, every dragon will enjoy the advantage of having his or her energy regenerated by 35% faster for a period equal to the amount of time needed to extract all deposited selenium.

The Selection Academy, on behalf of Pumas, stated, that Pumas are looking for their courageous and intuitive brethren to join them to compete against Dragons to be able to extract the selenium deposits. If the effort will be fruitful, Pumas will see the cost of their genetic research lowered by 44%.

3. Fragrance or Gracefulness or Regeneration for Unicorns, Fragrance, Regeneration or Song of Peace for Symurghs

Ever since the arrival of the Symurghs from the portals, The Order of knights had noticed a shift in pet appareciations among their guilds that had once had quite a fair amount of support for the unicorns. Most of them are rather uncertain of which pet would be best now as both the Unicorns and Symurghs had rather similar working genes.

To make a final decision, they had gathered together and decided there would be a competition, between the Symrughs and Unicorns to decide which pet could better suit the task at hand.

Using certain genes, Symurghs and unicorns were sent out to compete, from  taming a herd of berseking pumas to warding off unwanted creatures from entering certain territories and much more.

Now the beastlords can contribute by sending their Symurghs and Unicorns in and to prove once and for all, which species are best. If all goes well, the winning species will gian an energy recap by 50%.

Species: Unicorns and Gryphons

Competitors: University and Conclave of Warlocks

Requirements:
Intelligence for Unicorn,
Intuition for Gryphon

Bonus:
Increased energy regeneration speed – 30%

Description:
The Selenium mine has been excavated thoroughly with the help of Pumas. Over the years it had been deemed too scarce for any further evaluation of resources or investigations, and has become abandoned on site.

This, however, has allowed the University to gain access and use the site strictly for research purposes to help the Geological Exploration Service and their wide variety of tools to attain more information concerning minerals and other data of the habitat and surroundings. The Conclave of Warlocks, having been in action elsewhere, and are now finally stirring with a perked interest in the old abandoned Selenium Mine for raw magical energy purposes with their own undergoing investigation.

Now, a new stumbling block been discovered that has lead to a mass renewed revival of interest in the Selenium Mine which was previously overlooked beforehand, and that has spread controversy between the University and Conclave of Warlocks. Chemical samples of the new minerals include particles of ashes that have remained strangely inactive for quite some time. These have been taken directly and are undergoing further studies and research by the Geological Exploration Service from both parties with evidence of its new found miraculous properties.

Yet, it does not stop there!

Because of this once undermined, now reappearance, the Geological Exploration Service is conducting yet another expierment to further conclude the true origins of its properties...

This is involving the University and their traditional ties with the Unicorn for their high Intelligence displaying great knowledge of their scholarly wisdom while at the same time involving the Conclave of Warlocks and their lesser known ties with the Gryphon that involves a keen Intuition and powers of sight to unveil the contents.

Only one question remains. Who will be the first?

The Counter Espionage Service and the Messenger Service
3. Requirements for the participating pets

Courage for Gryphons and Agility for Rocs

5. Description of the event

The Messenger Service and the Counter Espionage Service have a long running disagreement as to the best flying pet to use for dangerous airborne missions.  The Messenger Service insists that the agility of Rocs that gets them to their destination quickly and unscathed (and their keeps their deliveries safe as well) is the most important quality.  The Counter Espionage Service believes that it is the courage of Gryphons that allows them to overcome any dangers or opposition in their path and ensures a mission completed to ultimate satisfaction. 

The two Services have agreed to settle the argument once and for all with a wager: they are calling on the most agile Rocs and courageous Gryphons to compete in a grueling race over the course of 7 days.  The winning pet species will be awarded a place of honor among both Services as well as an increased energy cap of 30%.

Competitors:Guild Of Mages and The Mechanicians Guild

Requirements:Artisan for Dragons and Sharp Claws for Pumas

Bonus:Increased energy regeneration by 50%

Discription:The Guild Of Mages and The Mechanicians Guild argued which species is better.The Mages are on the dragon's side while The Mechanicians are on the puma's.They decided to make a contest which the Beastlords can compete in.The winning species will get a bonus of increased energy regeneration by 50%.

The Trade Federation has always prided itself on its ability to move a large number of goods great distances using powerful but slow dragons. On the other hand, the Messenger Service has lately started delivering small amounts of goods quicker due to the smaller but faster Gryphons, which led to some people using their services instead. Are the dragons going to be able to keep their reputation, or will the Gryphons snatch it out of their grip?
