No matter what I do, I cannot move on the tactic map unless I battle someone.  I finally left the map, because I had gotten on by battling someone on the edge of the island, and there was no one in any adjacent sections to battle, but I couldn't move to an adjacent section (the blue x with the green arrow icon never illuminated for me).  I have full energy for all my squad pets, but clicking on adjacent areas to where I was did nothing.  Help?!

squirrel.cricket, do you have a screenshot with this issue? You have 2 squads. Are you sure that the right squad was active when you tried to move?  Where exactly it was standing? What browser version and OS do you use?

That was taken after I had removed my squad from the island (Flight Squad, as is indicated by my active squad tab in the top left-hand corner), and tried to click on an empty area on the edge of the island (the one I had just left, because I knew I had been there before).  The screenshot doesn't capture my pointer/mouse, but clicking on any empty area does nothing to my options to move.  This has happened multiple times regardless of where I try to move to or land on the island.  I am using Safari version 6.0.5 on Mac OS X 10.8.4.  Thank you for your help!

That one was taken when I clicked on someone on the outer perimeter of the island, and was given the option to battle.  If I battle this player and win, I will take their spot, but I will not be able to move from that spot unless I can battle someone else adjacent to my area.

Thanks a lot for the details! There's really some problem with rendering available zones and squad positions. I can suppose that this is somehow related with Mac. The battlefield wasn't tested on Mac because we don't have such possibility.  Can you please help us with testing? Please install Mozilla Firefox from here:

And try to check the battlefield there, then make a screenshot and post it here. This will at least give us the information if this is a OS/browser related problem or not.

I did the same thing, used Flight Squad and clicked on an area on the map.  Now it's highlighted and the available areas are gray.  Much easier to understand!  Maybe I'll have to switch browsers.

Good news that this is a browser-specific issue. Bad news is that I can't promise that we will fix it fast. Safari on Win renders everything correctly, so we don't have a test platform to reproduce this problem. We extremely apologize for this issue. The only way to get rid of it right now is to use another browser.
