Say I have a female dragon with the genes white and blue, and a male dragon with the genes white and silver. If I use the DCA on my female and breed her, will her next child no matter what the genes get the deviancy boost (therefore possibly wasting the DCA) or will the next child with homozygous genes (white, white) get the bonus?

The DCA works on the next breeding no matter what type of baby will be born. For maximum efficiency, use it only for breedings with guaranteed homozygous offsprings.
