I found three, but I'm worried about hatching them without that vermillion!

Edit: And now I'm not sure how to hatch them o-o I have two deviance essenses and three eggs, but clicking either the essence or the egg doesn't do anything

You need to use the "Activated Egg" recipe and and craft it with them...

I'm on level 7 and can't defeat a best, but I know that the portal I need is behind it. Is there a way that I can beat it, or just keep trying until I get past it?
