I created a squad, I clicked battlefield and now my "squad" is stuck and lost; or I am... :(((

I have NO idea what to do next, I can't downgrade my squad back to a group because it says: You need to leave the battlefield to disband the squad

I don't even know where my squad IS on the battlefield or how to get out of there, I don't know how to actually move, roll or battle on the battlefield and I tried clicking the little buttons on the bottom of the field and nothing happens. Please help me disband this squad, I don't understand this aspect of the game at all.

Got it worked out! :) Apparently I had to click the X with the arrow multiple times in order to leave the battlefield! Phew...
